Girl and Guitar – Make Things Better
Sticky Joe – United We Stand
Jack Garratt – Worries
The Last Shadow Puppets – Aviation
Buddy Guy – Born to Play Guitar

After a short hiatus, I’m back! The first podcast is always one of slight experimentation and this one is no different. There’s a brief introduction to what I’ve been doing for the last three years and I talk about my thoughts on the future of Rhubarb Radio. The plan is to release a show every two weeks with the eventual aim of getting a schedule of show on a live stream once we hit five regular shows.

You can get in touch with me by emailing phil@rhubarbradio.com or on Twitter @philcoyne

What I’ve been playing:

  • Else Heart.Break() - adventure game with nice art and a clever dialogue system - but a little slow-paced
  • Starward Rogue - bullet hell roguelike, maybe I’m not in the mood for it right now, well made but i was feeling panicked the whole time I played
  • Marvel Heroes 2016 - Diablo 2 clone with Marvel characters, I’m playing Gambit, Loot feels meaningless so i don’t know what the point of it all is other than a grind with familiar characters.
  • Meltdown - Tactical top down iso metric shooter game with multiple game modes, a campaign, endless mode, randomly generated mode, deathmatch, multiplayer coop, local coop, bosses, progression. There’s both premium and F2P versions.

Music: Human Traffic - Degeneration (Bandcamp, Soundcloud, Website) recommend to me by Taylor Shechet a musician and audio designer for games I met on Pop Culture Intelligentsia

Cool Link: Grypt - Tales From a Glass Crypt Vol 2.- The Blob Stares Back (Patreon)
